So here’s Pig Dude who’s really a kid with a pig nose and one of those funny little caps with a whirly gig on top…and he’s throwing a tantrum with Mama trying to console him. ‘You can do ANYTHING,’ says cuddling Mama. Well of course Pig Dude believes everything his mama tells him. So why not… fly?

So now there’s a naked little dude running around, determined that he can indeed fly. Disaster! And now Pig Dude is down in the dumps. Perhaps he’s not as good as Mama thinks… But! Determination is Pig Dude’s middle name so eventually, yes! he flies! However…

This is a picture book which will have any young reader dude excitedly turning pages to find out what happens next! And said reader will be laughing and laughing as he (or she) follows Pig Dude’s antics. This is a book full of action and playful fun with lots of repetition of words like ‘Pop!’ and ‘Foom!’ and ‘Wow!’ It’s great for reading aloud and is sure to become not just a favourite with readers aged 6 to 9 years, but with adults narrating the story.

The illustrations are cartoonish with lots of white space and typeface not always in tidy lines. Buy it today and share it with special kids who love to be excited!
