This is a
lift-the-flap board book, ideal for infants, to be read aloud by parents or
carers. Spot and his Mum are going to meet Dad for lunch on the beach. Along
the way they take in the scenery. At the river, Spot sees a log in the water. If
you lift the flap, you find a platypus. Lift the flat on a shrub and you find a
kookaburra. There are six flaps to lift before Spot and Mum meet up with Dad on
the beach. ‘The veggies on the barbecue smell delicious’ but of course there’s
room for dessert.
This is a
simple story with full colour, bright illustrations which can be enjoyed by all small children.
