The second instalment of The Prison Healer trilogy has arrived and it is
equally as captivating and magnificent as the first.
The Gilded Cage reconnects with Kiva, Jaren and Tipp who now reside at
the majestic royal River Palace in Vallenia, a far cry from the dark and deadly
Zalindov Prison of their recent past. Kiva is supremely appreciative of her
glorious new surroundings and opportunities, but she knows she cannot stay. She
cannot betray her family. She must focus on the future. Vengeance!
Kiva is reunited with her siblings, Zuleeka and Torell, who are hell bent on
reclaiming their kingdom. Kiva is forced to play a dangerous game of deceit as
she keeps her true identity a secret from those she has recently come to trust.
Her problems are soon compounded when she realises that she has to navigate through
a long history of family secrets and lies, and she is no longer sure where her
loyalties lie.
The Gilded Cage is a thrilling fantasy novel suitable for readers aged 15
years and older. The final book in the trilogy, The Blood Traitor, is
due for release in mid-2022.
