Buzz Words’ reader Kristin Darell is thrilled to be preparing to launch the first book in her four-book debut junior fiction series this month. This book is called Football Fever: The Kick-Off and is being published by Penguin Random House in partnership with Football Australia.
All four books will be released between now and the FIFA Women’s World Cup in July 2023 (that’s one book every three months.)

As well as writing books, Kristin is the Program Manager for the Australian Children’s Laureate Foundation and was a broadcast journalist for around 20 years before shifting more completely into the children’s literature world.
