Roxanne Kiely and Stephen Kiely, the dynamic duo behind the beloved Busy Izzy and Friends series, have done it again! The talented pair, who are the sole writers of all the songs in the series, recently received another accolade for their song, “You Can’t Take It Back”, which focuses on not doing or saying anything we may regret because, you can’t take it back. 

Their latest award from the Australian Songwriters Association celebrates Roxanne and Stephen’s talent in writing and creating music that is both entertaining and educational, with messages that resonate with children and their families. This recognition highlights the duo's dedication to crafting memorable tunes that inspire, educate, and delight.

Roxanne, an accomplished singer-songwriter and author of the Busy Izzy and Friends picture books, and Stephen, a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer, have poured their hearts and souls into the Busy Izzy and Friends program. Stephen plays every instrument featured on the Busy Izzy and Friends songs and the pair write all the lyrics, music and melodies.
